Women Entrepreneurs: Fund Her Future Grant Applications Are Open NOW

If obtaining funding and support for your woman-owned business feels like an uphill battle, you're not alone. According to Block Advisors by H&R Block’s Small Business Resiliency Series Survey, women starting small businesses are still more likely to be declined for a loan than males — and the disparities are even greater for small business owners of color. This is despite women entrepreneurs driving 94% more growth than their male counterparts over the past four years.

Block Advisors recognizes this gap in funding and support for women-owned small businesses and is on a mission to break down these barriers. This month, Block Advisors will award $100,000 in grants and essential small business services to support and empower women-owned ventures.

Here's what you need to know:

• Five finalists will be chosen to receive funding and a year of small business services.
• One lucky winner will receive a first prize grant of $50,000.
• Four honorable mention winners will each receive a grant of $12,500.
