  • Amazon Web Services chief Adam Selipsky (above) told employees Tuesday that he’s stepping down from the cloud giant, three years after he returned to Amazon. Longtime AWS leader Matt Garman will be the new CEO.
  • Melinda French Gates announced Monday she’s resigning as co-chair of the Gates Foundation. A philanthropy expert tells GeekWire that French Gates is “going to be a bigger deal now.” Read more.

  • Bill Hilf, the veteran tech executive and longtime CEO of late Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen’s holding company, formerly known as Vulcan Inc., is leaving after more than seven years.
