I'm a big fan of Gmail but one thing really annoys me - the spam button is right next to the delete button.

Several times a week, I accidentally mark something as spam when I don't mean to. Then I have to undo everything in the hopes that I still get messages I want.

It's a tiny thing, but it's annoying. Why can't there be a separator? Or, maybe, they could move the spam button elsewhere on the menu. I would even take changing the color. Anything to make it just a little harder to click that icon.

Which bit of tech interface would you fix?

I just started reading The Sicilian Inheritance by Jo Piazza. I’m too few pages in to make any sort of pronouncement, but I’m enjoying it so far. I can, however, 100% predict that this book will make me want to go back to Italy.

• We finally got around to watching Oppenheimer. Man is this a stacked cast. In almost every scene I was exclaiming, "That guy!" Overall, I like this film but I found the timeline a touch confusing. It wasn't always easy to see where we were in the story. I did like the artsy ways they incorporated Oppenheimer's views of science and theory. Also, as we were watching, I did a lot of frantic Googling. Turns out, I don't know a damn thing about this man. [Peacock]

• The Husband picked Don't Worry Darling as a movie one night. It's gorgeous to look at with a stellar cast. From the get go, I got Stepford Wives vibes which made the story and ending pretty clear from the start. Not very innovative, but a good watch nonetheless. [Hulu]

• For our series watch, we ended up binging the entirety of The Looming Tower. This was a phenomenal piece of drama and history. As always, Jeff Daniels gives a masterful performance. Tahar Rahim, a new to me actor, also stuns in his role as an FBI agent. This series details how so much went wrong before September 11th. It holds back no punches. Of all the real people portrayed in this, everyone gets smeared in some way. I think Condoleezza Rice, as small a role she plays in this series, comes off the worst. They make her almost ditzy. • I picked pizza pinwheels for dinner in the hopes the kiddo would help me make them. When the day came, I asked several times for her help but she preferred to watch Bluey. (Can't blame here. That show is excellent.) I used a tube of Pillsbury pizza dough which made constructing these a cinch. We served ours with a side salad. Next time, we're going to mix things up. Maybe we'll try chicken cordon bleu. [Yummy Toddler Food]

• For our monthly at home date night, I whipped up pesto baked salmon with roasted zucchini and couscous. This dinner felt like cheating. It took all of 5 minutes to put together. Also, highly recommend a good pesto. We've been using Rao's which is delicious. Previously, I've relied on Classico but it is not nearly as good. [Foxes Love Lemons]

I live in DC. Years ago, after big news events, the Newseum was the place to go. They would post the front pages of international, national, and local newspapers in cases outside of their building. It was a stunning display of journalism. The Newseum as since closed, but Today’s Front Pages from Freedom Forum works in a pinch.
