If you had to guess how many people watch CNN's primetime shows during the week, what would you say?

Two million? Three?

Nope. Two weeks ago, just 494,000 people watched CNN's flagship programming. 

You probably read about it in yesterday's edition, and so did the 675,999 other folks who get The Flyover in a single day.

How can an email newsletter (that we started last January) have more viewers than CNN? We put a lot of effort into making The Flyover great, but that doesn't tell the whole story.

Americans are sick of the bias found in traditional media platforms, and they're changing the channel. 

That's why we started The Flyover. We're sick of it too! We wanted to create a news source that people could trust, and we're honored that so many of you have joined us. 

Quickly, let's guess one more number. How much does CNN's most popular anchor, Anderson Cooper, earn each year? $12,000,000. 

I can assure you that, although The Flyover's readership outpunches plenty of legacy media outlets, our total payroll isn't in the same stratosphere as Anderson's. 

Our costs have gone up, however, and although our sponsors help pay the bills, we also depend on the direct support of our readers.
