Power BI Weekly Newsletter Issue #261
powered by endjin
Welcome to the 261st edition of Power BI Weekly! I'll quickly mention the updates this week: we've been told that the general availability of Copilot for Power BI is rolling out starting today, and we've also been given the Power BI Report Server May 2024 Feature Summary. An non-Microsoft update this week is the Release of Power BI Studio v2.0 (VSCode extension) by Gerhard Brueckl, which includes some awesome new bits of functionality like the integration with External Tools and a new Memory Statistics notebook for Semantic Models. Another new resource this week has been shared by Paul Turley, who's put together a Microsoft Fabric Roadmap & Feature Status Report to help us keep on top of the status of the upcoming features in Fabric. Finally, aside from updates this week, a couple of incremental refresh bits of content: Mark Endicott has presented at the Manchester Power BI user group talking about Advanced Incremental refresh in Power BI, and Marc Lelijveld has shown how to Dynamically refresh (historical) partitions in Power BI Incremental Refresh Semantic Models using Fabric Semantic Link.
