Portrait of a Journalist who can’t play Zelda tonight :(

There are so many things I would rather do tonight than watch a debate between Joe Biden and Donald Trump: Hang out with my friends. Play Zelda. Lay on the floor and stare blankly at the ceiling.

Nevertheless, I’ll be watching—and I’ll be hanging out here in this open thread, doing the type of live commentary I used to do on Twitter before it turned into Stabbing Video Central.

If you’d like a place to hang out and chat during tonight’s debate—one that’s free of trolls and full of people who care about climate change—please join me! We did a couple threads like this for last election cycle’s debates and they were pretty well-attended.
