This day in video game history, we celebrate the 22-year anniversary of Tekken 3 for the PlayStation, the 12-year anniversary of Grand Theft Auto IV for the PS3 and Xbox 360, which was the eleventh title and fourth major entry in the iconic open world series developed by Rockstar Games, and the five-year anniversary of Japan's release of Xenoblade Chronicles X for the Wii U.

The next Battlefield game is coming in 2021,

developer DICE

has confirmed. In a statement to IGN, the Swedish studio said that, with support for Star Wars: Battlefront II and Battlefield V winding down, it is 'focused on the future of Battlefield' for a new game set for release in 2021. By the time that this new Battlefield game releases in 2021, the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X will be on the market, so you can probably expect it to launch on those consoles, as well as PC.
