The City of Seattle is increasing its back-to-office mandate from two days per week to three days, in a move that Mayor Bruce Harrell (above) said recognizes “the benefits of in-person teamwork.” Amazon, which set a 3-days-per-week policy last year, cheered the change, while a union that represents city workers said the decision “has a disproportionate and negative impact on working families — particularly for women and people of color with dependent care responsibilities.” Read more.
