Seattle's Bumbershoot is here with a new animation district!

GeekWire is pleased to present this special
sponsored message to our Pacific NW readers.
This Labor Day weekend, August 31st and September 1st, Bumbershoot is bringing together an exciting mix of Animation, NASA, Fashion, Culinary Arts, Roller Skating, Film, Contemporary Art, and incredible Music at Seattle Center.

This year, Bumbershoot is introducing the Animation District. The district features particularly engaging programming from the creators of Spiderverse, Ultraman, Nimona, and Harold and the Purple Crayon, who will be in attendance.

These award-winning blockbuster creators will join the festival to unpack their process in a dramatic show-and-tell. Additionally, there will be a youth animation curation project, led by Seattle's own 15-year-old animator Orion.
