Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump will debate next Tuesday, September 10, at 9 PM Eastern on ABC News in what is shaping up to be one of the most important political events of the year. 

Your traditional options for watching the debate are not great:

1. Rely on mainstream media sources, which often breeze over substantive issues and treat the campaign like a sporting event. 

2. Wade into social media and be subject to a torrent of misinformation, bigotry, and general nastiness. 

On Tuesday, Popular Information will offer another option. We'll provide live, real-time fact-checking, analysis, and commentary throughout the 90-minute debate.
