Ubisoft Sues Google and Apple
Ubisoft isn't happy about Area F2, a free-to-play shooter created by Ejoy.com that was published on the Google Play and Apple App Store. Looking at game screenshots, it looks like a clone of Ubisoft's game, Rainbow Six Siege. Instead of suing Ejoy.com, Ubisoft is suing Google and Apple to remove the game from their marketplaces.
It might seem weird for Ubisoft to sue the store owners and not the actual developer and publisher of Area F2, but it might have to do with where Ejoy.com is located. Ejoy.com is owned by Chinese multinational technology company Alibaba. Suing for copyright infringement in China is challenging.

Minecraft studio Mojang has rebranded, and is 'playing with ideas' for new games
Minecraft sales have officially topped 200 million, with 126 million people playing the game monthly. Microsoft is detailing the latest sales figures just as celebrates 11 years since the first Minecraft alpha build was originally released. has rebranded to with a new logo. Following Minecraft Earth and Minecraft Dungeons, is planning a feature film, preparing an epic live show, and playing with ideas for brand new games.
