Hey there,
This week we opened the doors to the new cohort of the Innovating with AI Incubator program, and we’re already getting a ton of great questions.
The most common: “Which of the 3 Incubator learning tracks is right for me?”
Great question. If you’ve already clicked that link and scrolled down the page, then you’ve seen the 3 options that look like this:
I call these learning tracks and if you’re on mobile, it’ll be hard to read the text in that picture so here are the three tracks:
Track 1: Training
Track 2: Coaching
Track 3: Hybrid Consulting
Before I get into what’s different for each, first, let’s talk about Track 1: The Training Program (it focuses on the curriculum and it’s also included in the other tracks).
Track 1 - The Training
To recap, every Incubator student gets access to the full 9-module Innovator Sprint curriculum, which includes:
The “Innovation Sprint” Curriculum:
Launch your AI idea as a product or process in 30 days (or at your own pace).
We look at it like software, but for your mind, so we keep it up-to-date based on student feedback from every cohort.
The curriculum consists of 9 modules, organized into three Innovation Sprints that cover the following areas:
- Sprint 1 – Find Your Idea – Select, Refine and Timeline Your Best Idea(s)
- Sprint 2 – Build Your Idea – Go from Idea to AI Product or Process
- Sprint 3 – Launch Your Idea – Go from Idea to AI Business
The curriculum is entirely on-demand and self-paced, so you don’t need to worry about scheduling (just work through it at the time and speed that is right for you). And you have lifetime access to all curriculum content.
This is the exact same curriculum that all Demo Day presenters went through prior to showing you their new AI products and processes at our three live events earlier this month. (If you missed any of the three live events, all the replays are on this page.)
This level also includes…
- The “Always On” Community – Whether you like to connect on live group Zoom sessions or in a private community on Slack, we’ve got your back. Inside, you’ll join hundreds of students from around the world.
The curriculum-and-community version of the Incubator is called the Training Program. It’s our most financially accessible option ($6.48/day with our installment plan) and is also great for students whose schedules might make it hard to fully participate in our live coaching and live co-working (more on those in a moment).
And everybody (Training Program students included) gets invited to present their prototype at our next Demo Day, which will be in November.

Track 2 - The Coaching Program
Key Differences: Live Coaching, Live Co-Working and Skill-Building Seminars
Now let’s look at the next level up, the Coaching Program. This includes the full curriculum, plus:
- Live + Recorded Coaching – We answer questions you have about the curriculum and your AI idea on a live group call. It’s a group coaching call that everyone in the Coaching Program has access to. Depending on volume, we’ll group questions to help more of you all at once. The goal: ship better AI ideas faster and with less stress with the right feedback.
- Live + Recorded Skill-Building Seminars – We teach a self-contained lesson on a new or trending topic to keep you up to date with the latest AI advancements at all times. This is a new lesson that complements the curriculum, with time for live Q&A at the end.
These are also group calls, but on these calls, our program coach will be in “teacher mode”, with a structured lesson or workshop for you to accomplish a predetermined objective. These are done in response to student needs, and ensure we cover anything that’s not already inside the curriculum. Then, as you might expect, if it comes up enough, we update the permanent curriculum to include it.
- Live Co-Working – Stick to your schedule with our recurring live group co-working sessions, and build your product or process with one of our expert software engineers by your side.
What to expect:
1 year of access to our ongoing live coaching, co-working and skill-building sessions. This is included for every Coaching Program student. Altogether, they make sure you always know what to do with all the new AI stuff that comes out, especially after you’ve launched your idea. This makes sure your stuff is always “best-in-class”.
Is this right for you?
The Coaching Program is best for you if you want to join group sessions that keep you up-to-date on the latest happenings in AI – or if you prefer to watch those sessions in recorded format on your own schedule. (You’ll get lifetime access to the recordings of all the calls that take place in the next year.)
We’ve designed this part of the program to make sure you have a place to get your questions answered and never miss out on an opportunity to level up your product or process as new AI advancements hit the market. And since you’ll have access to all the recordings, it’s great for Innovators who want a flexible schedule or can’t attend coaching sessions during business hours.

Track 3 - Hybrid Consulting
Key Differences: 1-on-1 calls, 3 hours of software development, bring your team, and network with other hybrid consulting students. Launch guaranteed.
- 1-ON-1 PRIVATE CONSULTS: In addition to our group calls, once a month, you’ll be able to request a 30-minute 1-on-1 consulting session with Brian, our senior software engineer, where you can ask questions about sensitive topics that you’d prefer not to share on a group call (think HIPAA compliance, internal company documents, and more).
- 3 HOURS OF SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT: If there’s a tech issue in the way of your launching your AI process or product, you’ll have access to 3 hours of software development time from my team (redeemable within 6 months of your enrollment date). Given our experience working with clients ranging from Harvard to the Department of Defense, we’re confident in our ability to handle anything that’s doable within that time frame.
- MONTHLY MASTERMIND: Meet up with fellow Mentorship students each month for a virtual “mastermind” for the next 12 months.
- BRING YOUR TEAM: Include up to 3 employees in your private coaching sessions with Brian (our senior developer and coach)
- UNLIMITED 1-ON-1 SLACK: Talk with Brian anytime, about anything, in between your mentorship calls.

The Hybrid Consulting is the pinnacle of the AI Incubator experience – from 1-on-1 consults, to software development, we’ve thought of everything to shepherd you through the entire Incubator process – from idea generation to defining your first project to building and launching your prototype.
Best part? When you enroll in a private mentorship, we guarantee that we will ship your first product or process within your first 60 days.
We only make 20 spots available for this - however, if you have a team working on your project with you, you can bring up to 3 employees or business partners to your private mentorship sessions at no extra charge.

Is Hybrid Consulting right for you?
The Hybrid Consulting track is right for you if you want an even higher level of personalized attention, or if you want to bring a small team along with you to our coaching calls. (You can include up to three employees or business partners in our sessions.)
It’s also ideal if, for legal or privacy reasons, you want a higher level of confidentiality as you build your product or process. For example, some of our Hybrid Consulting students are building tools that involve the analysis of medical data, which requires an added layer of privacy that not every project needs.
The Hybrid Consulting track effectively makes you and your organization our client for six weeks, which means you get the highest level of attention, and I join your team and work arm-in-arm with you to help you reach and exceed your goals for your AI product or process.

Can I upgrade later?
Remember, enrollment closes Friday, September 20th, at 11:59 p.m. Pacific.
If you join the Training or Coaching Program this week and decide to upgrade to a higher level of the Incubator later on, just email me and we’ll get you in as soon as possible. (Keep in mind that availability for Hybrid Consulting is limited, so there may be some wait time if you don’t enroll right away.)
But, in order to respect all our students who are already working through the Incubator program with me, you will only be eligible to upgrade if you enroll in the Training Program or Coaching Program before next week’s deadline.
