It’s also boosting average base pay by $1.50/hour, to more than $22/hour. The move comes as the Teamsters continue efforts to organize Amazon’s hourly workforce. Salaried employees aren’t included, but it wouldn’t be a surprise to see the benefit expand in the future. Read more.
