A round-up of the 5 most interesting sites added to Raptive and Mediavine over the last 30 days

Mediavine and Raptive have had a pretty average last 30 days - adding about 123 new sites between them (as tracked by Display Ad Daily).

As a reminder, this monthly round-up email MOSTLY showcases sites that just recently met the traffic requirements of Mediavine or Raptive.

That way we're looking at sites that Google is rewarding right now - as we speak.

If you don't know, Word Hike is a popular crossword game on both iOS and Andrioid.

Word Hike Help simply publishes the entire solution of the daily puzzle to its website.

So if a player is having difficulties with one specific crossword clue or more and they've given up guessing, they can simply find the answer.

It's no surprise then that the most visited page is the home page! It's clear that players bookmark or at least remember the url and go direct to the site for answers.

Simple. Brillant.

And yes, the site looks like it's from 1985 🤣 but guess what? It's still getting traffic!

This site allows California fish charters to register, and then share daily reports of what types of fish they caught and how many. In return for sharing those details, they get to provide an ad to their charter on the site.

You can even text in photos of the fish you caught.

All this data is then complied into graphs showing yearly species totals, species trends by month, fish counts by day, etc.

Pretty unique resource!

Preschool Plan It does just what it says - it helps preschool teachers plan their day.

I personally know a few teachers and they all say the hardest part is coming up with fun/educational activities every day with the kids.

This site's owner, a preschool teacher of 20 years, reduces some of that burden by sharing out her plans, tips, ideas, etc.

She even has 66,000 Preschool Teachers on her email list!

4. Kroger Krazy

Another website that has been around forever and is crazy simple!

There is ALWAYS an appetite for saving money, especially at the grocery store, and this site helps you do just that.

In America, grocery stores usually have a weekly ad that showcases all the "deals" of the week. So maybe water bottles are 2 for 1 this week, or chicken is on sale. You get the idea.

These ads are usually printed and shared via mail, or at the grocery store itself. The owner of this site simply takes the ad and digitalizes it and shares it on her site. She also emails it out.

Of the 53,000 visitors this site gets a month, 43,924 go directly to the "weekly ad" page.

A brand new site started this year that acts really as a directory of thousands of translators.

Everything from language translators to a "Suprised Guy Translator" 😅

When I put in "Hey man what is for lunch?" it generated, "Whoa, dude! What's on the menu for lunch? 🤯🥳"

I imagine this site is using AI to help with a lot of this. Pretty cool idea.

Keith and I submitted NicheTwins.com to Journey by Mediavine back in April this year.

6 months later and we finally got accepted!

We haven't touched this site at all this year - no new content, but it's still getting between 5,000 and 7,000 sessions a month.

It will be interesting to see what sort of ad rates (RPMs) we get. You'll be the first to know!
