Here’s a reader-submitted question: I get SSI. Do you know when the IRS will send out those stimulus checks?

Answer: Supplemental Security Income beneficiaries are supposed to be getting their payments in “mid-May,” according to the IRS… which is right about now. In fact, there have been reports of the checks going out this week. You can use the Get My Payment app to track your payment (note: It’ll say “Payment Status Not Available” until the check is actually issued). More info .
