Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella’s comp tops $79M as stock soars; cash bonus cut in half on security woes

BREAKING NEWS

Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella was awarded more than $79 million in total compensation for the tech giant’s 2024 fiscal year, up from $48.5 million a year earlier, according to the company’s proxy statement, released Thursday. Nadella asked the Microsoft board to reduce the cash component of his compensation in line with the company’s prior pledge to tie part of executive pay to security following a series of high-profile attacks.
