Warriors 125, Wizards 112 — Steph Curry is back. Golden State has perhaps been the most impressive team that almost everyone didn’t pick for the Finals.

There was a little bit of taunting between Jordan Poole and Draymond Green. Poole, my man: you were a Warrior. You know not to taunt the Warriors. They always get you back.

Lakers 103, Pistons 115 — I’m so glad the win column is catching up with the eye test for Detroit, who looks much more competitive this season under J.B. Bickerstaff and with Tobias Harris in the starting five. This is a significant win for the Pistons against a team that looked unstoppable just a week ago.

Anthony Davis put up a monster night (37 points on 13/23 shooting) and the Lakers made a few pushes to bring a 20-point deficit within two possessions. One killer: Jalen Duren picked up eight offensive rebounds, and Detroit took 36% of offensive rebounding opportunities.

L.A.’s bench is quite iffy. AD hurt his ankle late but seemed annoyed at the idea he might miss any time in the post-game.

Celtics 123, Hawks 93 — Boston is a machine. Jaylen Brown sits? No problem.

Grizzlies 104, Nets 106 — Look, the Western Conference is too competitive for competitive teams to be losing to the Brooklyn Nets once. Memphis, who intends to be competitive, has now lost to the Brooklyn Nets twice. That’s pretty inexcusable, and it may just come down to the Grizzlies being too thin without Desmond Bane, Marcus Smart and Vince Williams Jr.

Grousing aside, these layups from Ja Morant are absolutely incredible...
