"The Art of Data" will be our fourth Kickstarter project, following three successful projects that you've generously supported in the past:

"The Art of Data" will be a 200+ page hardcover book that distills everything we've learned in 13 years about data storytelling into one place.

These will be lessons that apply to anyone who communicates with data:

What makes good data storytelling special
Where we agree with the "experts", but also where we disagree
The Visual Capitalist philosophy and decision-making process
All of the practical tricks we've learned over the years

"The Art of Data" will also be full of high-quality color images of our best visuals, along with descriptions and breakdowns on what made them successful and impactful.

Speaking Tour

If the Kickstarter project is successfully funded, we'll be launching "The Art of Data" speaking tour.

It'll take place in May/June of 2025, with our founder (Jeff Desjardins) touring North America and Europe to do:

Keynote talks
Interactive workshops
Book signings

And through this Kickstarter only, you can add your city/office/event as a custom stop on the tour at a 40% discount to normal speaking prices.
