Join us TOMORROW, November 22nd, at 8am for Creative Mornings Poulsbo, where we explore the theme Thread with Coast Salish artist Danielle Morsette. A member of the Suquamish Tribe and Stó꞉lō Nation, Danielle masterfully weaves tradition and innovation, creating ceremonial garments and contemporary art. With roots in ancestral craftsmanship, her handwoven pieces celebrate the mathematical precision of Coast Salish design while pushing creative boundaries. From local exhibitions to a large-scale project for the Seattle Convention Center, Danielle’s work embodies the intricate threads that bind history, identity, and artistry. Come unravel the stories and lessons woven into her inspiring journey.
