I hope everyone is having a wonderful holiday season. We’ve been hosting family which is always its own fun form of chaos. Luckily, we’ve been the Christmas hosts for the past decade so we have our traditions on lock. We start to say goodbye to everyone tomorrow which will leave a few days of quiet(er) family time before it’s back to our regularly scheduled programming.

Admittedly, I’m excited for my two days of leave while the kiddo is in gymnastics camp and the husband is back to work. I’m going to get so much done.

• It’s been a bit since I read a proper contemporary romance. Canadian Boyfriend came across one of my round ups the other week and I think it would be the perfect one to grab.

• Normally, I keep up with the current postings from The Atlantic. I had to put “The Hawaiians Who Want Their Nation Back” into my saved stories because it was just too long to handle when it was first published

• “Creating a Marketing Plan with a Marketing Team of One” is relevant to my interests because I am a team of one and I need to develop a marketing plan now that we’ve settled into our new space.

• I still haven’t seen Barbie. I might need to put that on while I have some alone time this week.

• We used to keep up with the new seasons of Doctor Who. Now, we are fully two Doctors behind the times. I think I’m going to bump that up on our watch list. I kind of hope they bring back the weeping angels…

• During the pandemic, I discovered the Aden Films YouTube channel. The videos are perfect background noise during work. I haven’t watched the most recent few months of posts and I think they’ll be great during the prep week I have before the spring semester starts.

• I am going to do ALL the laundry. ALL of it. I’m talking things like throw blankets, bath mats, and shower curtains. I’m going to just work my way through the master list of laundry I made a year ago.

• 2025 is in a matter of days which means it’s time to set up my bullet journal for the new year. Now if only I could settle on my word of the year…

• Now that we’ve all acquired new shiny things from the holidays, we need to find places for everything. I’m going to use this as a chance to pull other items for donation.
