When December rolls around, I often start to reflect on the previous year and plan for the coming year. This year is no different. I remember having all these goals before 2024 started, I came up short when December came.

Ruby Granger did a Bingo card for 2025 and she inspired me to create mine for 2025. It is more fun instead of setting goals with the LET’S GO! mentality and coming up short.

Most of them are writing goals that I said I would not talk about. Now you know that I am not good at keeping secrets. If I consistently write 700 words everyday for 4 months, I can finish the first draft, proceed to start editing it, give it to beta readers and critique partners. • Literature Lab - Analyzing literature would be one of the major focus for 2025. You can say that this series a tribute to literature as it has inspired me in endless ways as I keep dipping into different genres and authors. I have recently find the beauty of short stories, stories that are original in foreign language and translated into English.

  I love that authors from different cultures have been embracing their own cultures and translators are doing magnificent job in keeping the tone and voice of the authors.

• Interview series - Talking to fellow writers and creatives had taught me more about the creative process and how they all live their incredibly creative life. It has broaden my worldview as I have talked to a French screenwriter, a talented DJ and writers with unique backgrounds.

• Wasting time consuming mindless (social) content

• Comparing myself to fellow writers, in terms of writing process and how fast they finish each stage (one month drafting, one month editing, dictate 5K words in an hour instead of writing)

• Procrastinating to write Project Dylan
