How Gen Z’s take on the American Dream is changing
The American Dream isn’t disappearing — it’s evolving. Today’s teens still desire homeownership, higher education and career success, but their paths differ from their parents. Economic uncertainty and shifting priorities have led to a redefinition of success. According to a new TeenVoice survey of more than 500 teens, 62% say their generation views success differently than older generations and 51% feel that traditional “American Dream” advertising doesn’t resonate with them.
