The daughter of a Frenchwoman, writer Bella Druckman is no stranger to a striped shirt. Her own collection includes J.Crew boatnecks, drop-shoulder numbers from Madewell, and an especially soft one from Kule — all of which she included in her new round-up of the best striped shirts for men and women. To round out the list, she talked to personal stylists and her stripes-loving colleagues to find the very best ones on the market, from a striped turtleneck with a collar that's "neither too constricting nor too floppy" and the particularly breathable option that one editor has been wearing for five summers straight.

MICRO ODE

My makeup collection is certainly not hurting for blushes, but none of them are quite as fun to use as this Fwee "pudding pot." It has a soft, bouncy, ineffably delightful texture similar to that of a soufflé — when I tap my finger in the blush, it jiggles, much as if I were digging into a Japanese cheesecake. Plus the product blends easily, has a diffused matte finish, and comes in a wide shade range, from striking corals to softer roses and nudes.
