Do any of you know of a podcast app that lets you mute one of the speakers?

There’s a bunch of podcast hosts with great guests, but I don’t super love the host. I’d like to edit them out.

Cheap blood test detects pancreatic cancer (article)

“Researchers have developed a simple blood test to detect pancreatic cancer before it spreads to other sites in the body. The test could be used for routine screening to improve the disease’s low survival rate”

Sample size of 356 people, some w/ pancreatic cancer, some with other forms of pancreatic disease, and others who were healthy:

The obvious next version of this is the AIs just talk to each other for us, and so I feel like we’re all massively underestimating how much AIs will talk to each other relative to both today and to how much humans talk to each other today.

AI predicts how much money you make based on a photo (paper)

Using photos of people’s faces the AI could predict:

• Which tier of business school someone attended
• How much money they made
• How senior their job positions were
• What industries they worked in
• How often they changed jobs
• How quickly they got promoted
