I. Be Where Your Feet Are

You are exactly where you need to be.

Take a breath. Take your time. Be aware of where you are, how you are, and what you are. Pause the constant need to do something, something more, or to achieve another goal.
Visualize your dreams but don't let them force you to step away from the present moment.

Don't compromise the now in order to get lost in the future. Be where your feet are and simmer all that the world is offering you today.

Whether it's a high, a low, or an in-between, this chapter of your life is meant to be savored.
It is meant to be enjoyed and experienced to its fullest potential. It will teach you something, or it'll grant you a gift, but it is only when you are in rapid mode that you tend to miss out on the good stuff.

The stuff that makes you who you are or the memories that define your existence. So inhale, exhale, slow down. You still have time.

II. Relentless Presence

Surround yourself with relentless humans.

People who plan in decades, but live in moments.
Train like savages, but meditate like monks.
They embody the spirit of a warrior but create like artists.
Relentless in work, relax in life.
People who know this is finite, and choose to play infinite games.

Find people climbing their mountains. Climb together.

III. The Sum of Right Nows

Forever is only the sum of right nows.

It takes bravery to break old habits, to turn to the voice inside of your own head and say: I will not let you speak to me that way. It takes courage to sit down and have a conversation with your mistakes.
Growth is uncomfortable; it's slow and rarely steady, but I promise you that nothing in full bloom will ever tell you that the struggle isn't worth it.

Take a moment to realize just how far you've come. Look at all the bridges you've crossed, and all the scary things you've done. There were times you thought the world was ending, and you still held on to see it through.

I know you don't give yourself credit for the little things, but there is strength in those things too.
Forever is only the sum of right nows. You will never have everything figured out.

Life is allowed to look like a Renaissance piece and a work in progress at exactly the same time. Don't wait until the day is perfect to look up and watch the sunrise.
