Believe it or not, Amazon recently released an annual consumer trends report that was actually a bit insightful and useful.

Some key takeaways: there were 20.93 billion searches in December, which was about 90% more than in September.

Searches for pet supplies were up 38,466% overall last year and, much to the pleasure of climate-change deniers, snow removal was just behind it at 19,882% growth.
