Once a month, Strategist staffers gab about all the things we’ve been buying for ourselves. So here’s everything we bought in February. A few highlights: Dominique Pariso ditched her Arizona EVAs for an upgraded Birkenstock with extra-large buckles and a backstrap; Hilary Reid bought a pair of delightful nightstands with spiral legs for her new apartment; and Erin Schwartz is now finally onboard with the superiority of Japanese stationery. Regarding this spiral-grid notebook, they write, “The paper is smooth, the cover is crisp, and the spiral binding is snagless.”

Dorsey founder Meg Strachan gets asked a lot about her clogs. She’s been stopped by everyone from 20-year-olds to women in their 60s to strangers on the street who want to try them on straight off her feet. They’re totally justified. Strachan wears them almost every day at this point and says “they’re a perfect shoe to just throw on if you’re out doing things.”
