We are still exploring all the new features of SwiftUI and target to release an update for our Mastering SwiftUI book in late Jul.
In Xcode 12, Apple introduced a new feature that lets you easily share your custom views to the View library. Some readers asked what does this mean? For example, we’ve built a progress view and want to make it available for other developers. You can now use the LibraryContentProvider protocol and add the control to the View library. Later, you can then drag the component from the library and use it directly. You can check out this demo video to see it in action.
As usual, we got a large collection of tutorials for your reading this week. Hope you enjoy them!
Talk soon,
Simon
