Forbes - States Are Overwhelmed (Again)

Unfortunately, several states are now experiencing their own version of New York’s Covid-19 nightmare of a few months ago. Texas and Arizona, two of the current hotspots, have requested refrigerated trucks and extra body bags as morgues fill up to capacity. Hospitals are also short-staffed, a consequence of a badly timed immigration policy barring foreign doctors from entering the country to help with the current crisis. It looks like many states’ healthcare systems are quickly getting overwhelmed by Covid-19 cases, which will only lead to more deaths, both from Covid-19 and from other conditions.
