  • Sleeping Dogs is an action-adventure video game developed by United Front Games and published by Square Enix.
  • Set in contemporary Hong Kong, the story follows Wei Shen, an undercover Chinese-American police officer on assignment to infiltrate the Sun On Yee Triad organization.
  • Gameplay focuses on Shen's fighting, shooting and parkour abilities, and on gadgets that can be used for combat and exploration.

Xbox Series X Games Showcase Summary
The Xbox Games Showcase finally arrived, coming over a month after Sony's huge PS5 event. There was one question burning in every console gamer's mind: Would Microsoft be able to match, or even exceed, the offerings Sony brought to the table on June 11th? The short answer: It's complicated. Some say no, due to the sheer lack of Series X exclusive titles or gameplay reveals. As an out-of-the-box gaming experience, the PS5 looks to have an advantage this fall.

On the other hand, it seems that it's clear that Microsoft is trying to create a different gaming experience to an audience that may be less focused on exclusives and more on an ecosystem with the Xbox Games Pass.

Despite this being a 'Games Showcase,' Microsoft seemed to have a particular focus on pushing not just titles, but also features with this announcement.

Microsoft reveals redesigned, much faster Xbox store
Microsoft has announced a significant overhaul of its digital store for Xbox, and the end result is a much faster browsing experience and more straightforward navigation. "Far more than a typical app update, we've rebuilt the experience from the ground up to be faster, safer and easier to use than ever before," wrote the Xbox team's Cody Bird in a blog post.

The new Microsoft Store app for Xbox will roll out to some Xbox insiders on August 5th before expanding to other testers in the coming weeks and ultimately reaching all Xbox One owners -- and the Xbox Series X -- this fall. To me, the current store can be a genuine hassle to browse, and this feels like a huge step in the right direction.
