Used to being on the road with musicians, the pandemic forced married couple Zito and Christin (The Zitos) to reinvent themselves. They took the skills from their day jobs and apply them to the kitchen, their sourdough cinnamon rolls becoming a big hit—and a source of support for other music industry professionals.

All Scottish entrepreneur Hannah Fisher wanted was to create a new brand of tomato juice. To get there, she had to set up a manufacturing facility with business partner Craig Strachan—but three years later, her Tongue In Peat is finally hitting the market.

Business leaders and entertainers including Shaquille O’Neal, Gabrielle Union, Jamie Foxx and Chance The Rapper will convene for Black Entrepreneurs Day, on Oct. 24—a day of business conversations, grant-giving and, above all, a celebration of Black business.
