Unless you are living under a rock, I’m sure you heard the announcement of iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Pro, and iPhone 12 Pro Max. Along with the announcement, Apple also released the GM version of Xcode 12.1 which bundles new simulators for these new iPhone models.
Last month, we updated our Mastering SwiftUI book for iOS 14. Meanwhile, we are still updating the beginner book for the latest version of Xcode. Other than capturing all the screenshots and fixing the compatibility issues, we rewrite most of the content and teach you to use some modern APIs such as UITableViewDiffableDataSource. The updated book will be available in November. If you got a copy of the current version, you will receive the updated book for free.
Once again, hope you enjoy the tutorials!
Regards,
Simon
