Good morning. We’re off tomorrow and Friday for Thanksgiving. We’re grateful that you signed up for Flow State and engage with our recommendations. If there’s anything you think we could do better, reply to this email and let us know.
Today we’re listening to Josiah Steinbrick, an American multi-instrumentalist and composer. Thanks to Armando for the recommendation. Steinbrick’s experimental ambient compositions range from synth-only drone pieces to minimalist percussion etudes. First we’re playing his album from September, Liquid / Devotion…, which consists of an eclectic mix of styles and sounds. Second up is the 2017 album, Meeting of Waters, which is a more abstract inquiry into the pairing of certain instruments. Each track is named after the instruments featured on it. We hope you enjoy.
