Forbes - Breaking Records Again

The U.S. continues to shatter Covid-19 records. Once again, we’ve hit an all-time high of cases and deaths. 217,445 cases of Covid-19 were reported on Thursday, and 2,879 deaths. Experts caution that this isn’t even the peak of the pandemic. New data shows that millions of Americans ignored public health warnings not to travel during Thanksgiving, and scientists expect to see a spike in cases in the coming days and weeks.

President-elect Biden hasn’t officially taken office yet, but his Covid-19 advisory board has already made one decision. A group member said that
he has no plans for a nation-wide shutdown, instead preferring a more targeted approach based on the number of cases and risk.
