Forbes - An ‘Insurrection’ During A Pandemic

The last great global pandemic of 1918 took place in a tumultuous era: World War I was still raging on, the Russian Revolution was ongoing and around there was chaos around the world. CVS and Walgreens announced that the first doses of vaccines for all residents of long-term care facilities will be complete by the end of the month, helping to protect some of our most vulnerable citizens. It’s not just the U.S. that is having problems with the vaccine rollout either; the U.K. has now approved Moderna’s Covid-19 vaccine, but distribution there is sluggish as well.
