Real quick, I've gotten a lot of questions about the Blogging for Devs Community.

So, I went ahead and summarized the top 5 questions below. Let me know if your question is missing, and I'll be happy to answer it!

1. Is the community a fit for me if I write about tech, but I don't want to write tutorials?

Definitely! Apart from purely technical articles, a lot of our members blog about other topics:

• The product they're building (Apps, ebooks, courses, etc)
• Product and engineering management
• User experience design
• Topics generally interesting to a tech-savvy audience

The key is you should either be technical yourself, or want to reach people working in tech with your blog.

2. Can my company pay for my community membership?

Absolutely. A bunch of our members had their company pay for or reimburse their membership, and we can provide you with a tax-friendly invoice.

3. Can I upgrade to the annual option after trying the community for a few months?

Yes, a bunch of people have done this. The first months' fees won't be refunded, but you can upgrade anytime and still keep your founding member discount on the annual plan.

4. How long will the founding member discount go for?

It's impossible for me to predict! Right now, there are fewer than 100 founding members spots left at the 25% off lifetime discount (as of January 2021).

5. What if I realize the community isn't a fit after joining?

Hopefully, there's plenty of information for you to decide that on the Community page up front. But there's also a 14-day money-back policy, just in case :)
