I read every email. I used to respond to every single email, but I can’t anymore. 

But if you’ve ever emailed me and gotten a response, you know I DO try to respond to the very BEST emails that come through my inbox — even if they’re from people I don’t know.

What makes an email get a response from a busy person? How can you connect with people who can give you advice, introductions, even job offers?

Over the years, I learned how. When I was younger, I was on the other side of the table, always trying to get busy people to respond to me. Now, getting all these emails, I see how certain emails stand out...and others never get answered.
