Forbes - EU Agency Clears AstraZeneca Vaccine

As the timetable for vaccinations accelerates, there’s light at the end of the pandemic tunnel. But we’re not out of the darkness yet - Covid cases are spiking in 13 U.S. states right now, some of which are seeing good vaccination rates. And airlines are showing the highest number of travelers since the pandemic began, mostly from spring break travel, sparking fears of a resurgence of the virus happening before enough vaccines can get in arms.

EU Agency OKs AstraZeneca Vaccine, Ruling Out Broad Link To Blood Clotting

The Oxford-AstraZeneca Covid-19 vaccine is “safe and effective,” the European Medicines Agency concluded after an extensive review prompted when more than a dozen European countries stopped using the shot after reports it was linked to dangerous blood clotting—the agency ruled out a broad link to blood clotting but said it was unable to definitively rule out an association with extremely rare clotting events.
