Steven Ehrlich:

Steven is the director of research for digital assets at Forbes and editor of Forbes CryptoAsset & Blockchain Advisor. He was recently the Social Media/Copy Lead at Kraken, a cryptocurrency exchange based in the United States. Before joining Kraken he served as Chief Operating Officer at the Wall Street Blockchain Alliance, a non-profit trade association dedicated to the comprehensive adoption of cryptocurrencies and blockchain technologies across global markets. Before joining the WSBA, he was the Lead Associate within the Emerging Technologies practice at Spitzberg Partners, a boutique corporate advisory firm that advises leading firms across industries on blockchain technology.

Michael Meisler:

Michael is a Partner in EY’s National Tax Practice, where he leads the firm’s Blockchain/Cryptocurrency Tax Center of Excellence. He previously served as the firm’s Global Blockchain Tax Leader between November 2016 and September 2019. Michael previously served as a partner in EY’s Financial Services Organization. He has over 30 years of experience providing tax consulting services with respect to financial products and transactions for securities industry clients.

Shehan Chandrasekera:

Shehan is one of the handful of CPAs in the country who is recognized as a real-world operator and a conceptual subject matter expert on cryptocurrency taxation. He is the Head of Tax Strategy at CoinTracker, partner at JAGArgueta CPAs, a Forbes Tax Contributor and a CPE instructor who has won multiple awards: 2020 & 2019 CPA Practice Advisor 40 under 40 accounting professionals, Outstanding Young CPA of the year, and Rising Star of Texas.

Roger Brown:

Roger Brown is Head of Tax & Regulatory Affairs for Lukka, the leading crypto asset software and data provider solving the most difficult data challenges. He has more than 29 years of tax experience as an international tax and financial products lawyer. Among his notable roles, Roger spent a decade in the national office of the IRS writing regulations, rulings, and other guidance, while also assisting field agents. Roger spent a similar period as a senior technical partner in Ernst & Young’s financial services office.

Lisa Felix:

Lisa heads global tax focusing on driving results-oriented strategy, risk management and process at Kraken. Most recently, Lisa was a Silicon Valley based international tax advisor for crypto, blockchain and fintech companies. Lisa is a licensed tax attorney who previously served as special counsel for 1B+ structured financings and with the Washington national tax offices in two top accounting firms.
