Forbes - Biden’s first 100 days

This Thursday will mark President Joe Biden’s 100th day in office. 

It’s hard to wrap my head around these past hundred days flying by so quickly—but it’s in part because the Biden administration has been busy chipping away at its agenda right from the very day he took the Oath of Office. 

In 100 days, Biden has achieved some notable wins. The American Rescue Plan Act was passed in March and provided lifelines to Americans, including another round of stimulus checks and extended unemployment benefits. Biden has also expanded the Child Tax Credit to provide more money to qualifying parents—and for the first time in history, in monthly installments. 

But the president has also fallen short on some of his promises. Biden’s push for a $15 federal minimum wage was cut from the most recent stimulus package. The American Jobs Plan, Biden’s infrastructure proposal to create millions of jobs to help restart the U.S. economy, is off to a slow start as it meets political hurdles in D.C.

It will be interesting to see what Biden’s next 100 days bring.
