Dear AD PRO Community,

Working at AD, we consume a LOT of images—interiors for the print magazine and the website; a constant drip of new products; and of course, like everyone else, the endless reel of content on Instagram. There's always a moment when you realize OK, everyone is doing that.

Senior Design Editor Hannah Martin’s “Having a Moment” column for AD PRO crystallizes these trends, zeroing in on examples we think are a bit more nuanced. (We know you already know all about millennial pink). Hannah has tackled the vogue of designers commissioning statement bathtubs, deploying table lamps in kitchens, using suiting fabrics in home decor, and hanging plates on walls.
