The Summer 2021 Sandals You're About To See Everywhere

I have a confession to make: I've spent the majority of the last year in my Birkenstocks. They're the perfect shoe for lazy lounging, yet they can hold up for a long walk. But, now that things are beginning to open up (I sat inside of a real-life dive bar for the first time this weekend), I've been forced to the conclusion that it's time to expand my footwear repertoire. During the Spring/Summer 2021 season, designers sent models down the runway in a range of sandals that I'm now finally looking back on for inspiration. For everyday wear, there are the high-fashion iterations of slip ons, like Balenciaga's fuzzy slides. But, it's the heeled options at Chanel and Versace currently topping my must-have list. 

And since shoes do not an outfit make, I'd also suggest checking out my new favorite going-out trend: string cutouts as well as a few inspiring white jeans outfits to help you get in the mood for all the days (and nights) of celebrating on the horizon. Even if I'm just running out for a mid-morning ice latte, the mood boost I get from getting dressed makes all the difference.
