You’re Invited to a Virtual Wine Access Event with Victoria James
YOU’RE INVITED: A WINE ACCESS VIRTUAL EVENT WITH VICTORIA JAMES Presented by
This summer, Lit Hub and Wine Access will present a new series of live virtual events with authors discussing their books and the perfect wines to pair with them.
To kick off the series, join us on Thursday, June 3, at 4PM PST for a discussion between Wine Access’s Head of Wine, Vanessa Conlin MW, and Victoria James, sommelier and author of the memoir Wine Girl, a love letter to the restorative and life-changing effects of good wine and good hospitality.
Looking for a Wine to Pair? Earn $50 Off Your First Order of $150
Wine Access makes it easy to discover and enjoy the world’s best wines. Perfectly curated by a best-in-the-business team—including a Master of Wine, Master Sommelier, and other globally recognized experts—Wine Access offers unprecedented access to rare wines and the stories behind the label, delivered straight to your door.
Inspired by Wine Girl, below are a few recommendations of bottles to buy that’ll pair nicely with your reading experience—or even enjoyed during the live event. 2017 Comtesse de Chérisey La Genelotte Meursault-Blagny Premier Cru
Best-ever scores and an escalating reputation can only mean that Domaine Comtesse de Chérisey's stock is climbing fast. Any Wall Street trader will tell you that means now is the time to get in on the action.
2018 Domaine de Villaine Aligoté Bouzeron
We’d be obsessed with this spine-tingling white wine even if it wasn’t produced by one of Burgundy’s most famous figures: Aubert de Villaine, co-director of Burgundy’s Domaine de la Romanée-Conti.
2018 Domaine François Lumpp La Brûlée Givry Premier Cru Rouge
Compare this Pinot to its high-priced Burgundy peers: It’s the kind of undeniably delicious, overdelivering, and off-the-beaten path red that importer Kermit Lynch is known for. Specially chosen by the importer for you.
