  • The fight for privacy isn’t limited to just the big tech companies; it is spreading to the underlying technical standards committees as well. 
  • More stories about big tech companies taking a hard line stance on forcing people back into the office, this time at Apple.

  • One of the most in depth presentations about how the financial system works (specifically around capital flows) I have ever read by Zoltan Pozsar. It’s long but well worth the read. 
  • One of the main ways Robinhood generates revenue is through the controversial practice of “payment for order flow” (PFOF). Brett Harrison, a former tech lead at Citadel, shares a deeper level understanding of what PFOF entails, how it works, and how dangerous it really is.
  • One of the big catalysts of DeFi is the ability to earn high interest rates on capital; however, these prime rates have been falling down to more normal levels. TLDR: Supply and demand, most notable of stablecoins is the main factor here. 
  • A fascinating and dramatic discussion thread where venture capitalists are pitching a “decentralized autonomous organization” (DAO) to participate in a funding round for the Sushi token - with Lightspeed Ventures, True Ventures, Polychain and 21 VCs in total. Never before has the struggle between capital and labor been publicly accessible for anyone to read with no emotions being held back.
