Check out our #PoetryNearYou Pick of the Week: a free screening of The Sacrifice Zone, followed by poetry and discussion about environmental justice featuring Maria Lopez-Nuñez, Dr. Jalonne White-Newsome, Julie Winokur, Camille T. Dungy, and Marina Carreira. Presented by The Geraldine R. Congratulations to Academy Chancellor Joy Harjo, whose work will be featured on NASA’s Lucy Plaque, launching into space on October 16, 2021. The work of poets Billy Collins, Rita Dove, Louise Glück, Amanda Gorman, Juan Felipe Herrera, and Charles Simic will also be included. 
  • The Department of Liberal Studies at the National Technical Institute for the Deaf is seeking a tenure-track Assistant Professor to teach critical reading & writing. 
     
  • Middle Georgia State University in Macon, Georgia, is seeking a tenure-track Assistant Professor of English to teach a four/four course load, among other responsibilities. 
     
  • Simon & Schuster in New York City is seeking a full-time Associate Director of Publicity for Simon & Schuster Books for Young Readers, Atheneum Books for Young Readers, and Beach Lane Books.
