I love simple ideas like these: Graeme McGaw makes $50k/month running OrderOfBooks.com, a blog that lists books in different orders.

When people want to get started reading a book series, they might search for something like “order of Harry Potter books”... That’s when they’ll land on this website, where they will get exactly what they are looking for.

Turns out Amazon doesn’t do a great job at listing out books in series order, so niche websites like these can attain hundreds of thousands of traffic per month.

It’s the simple ideas that usually win...

Here’s Graeme’s biggest takeaway on his success:

"This is the method I approach all new websites with (especially if I don't have any hard data on traffic or financials); the K.I.S.S. method. Create a very basic website and if it grows - build onto it. The only major changes in the last 10 years have been cosmetic changes to the website. The core remains the same."

This is some of the best advice I’ve read in a while. Stop overcomplicating things and solve problems in a straightforward way!
