At last, a conversational AI as a service platform built for developers

Voice is the native interface for human-human communication. But with our devices we communicate mainly using tactile interfaces.

If you have ever thought about giving your mobile apps or IOT devices a fully conversational (think: Jarvis) voice interface, meet  Dasha. If you have ever thought about upgrading a rusty old IVR to a human-like AI support agent, meet Dasha.

Unlike most human-like conversational AI offerings out there, Dasha lets you build your own conversational apps. Unlike all developer-friendly conversational products, Dasha lets you build human-like AI apps and provides all the AI as a Service features that you’ll ever need. No need for third party speech synthesis or recognition to make your apps work! (I’m looking at you, Watson).

It is a product built by developers for developers. If you can write basic JavaScript you will be able to write a Dasha conversational AI application. Dasha Studio is an extension to Visual Studio Code which is handy because I don’t have to install a new editor. You can see a video demo here.

Dasha Studio running in VSCode

Text to speech, speech to text and natural language processing are all services native to the platform.

Dasha has a developer community. Join the community and you will be issued an API key and instructions on how to get started. In essence, all you have to do is make sure your VSCode, NPM and Node.js are up to date, then, install the Dasha Studio Extension and the Dasha CLI and you’re good to go. There is a library of code samples up on GitHub (growing every week) and a great bunch of tutorials up on the Dasha blog.

I guarantee you - voice is how we will communicate with machines ten, twenty years from now.

P.S. Dasha is hosting a Demo day on August 17th at 12pm EST. Pop in to get a fast overview of the Platform and ask some questions
