The Back-To-Work Outfits Our Editors Recommend For Fall

In my mind, the Tuesday post Labor Day marks the beginning of each year. People are back from their vacations and work picks up again. New York Fashion Week begins and I catch up with friends and colleagues on what they've been up to this summer. It's this return to a bustling pace that is palpable in the New York City air and, like a clock, is set back to the "beginning" of the year.

With this shift, I seek some updates to my wardrobe as well. Physically returning back to the office has been on my mind, specifically, what I would wear. I have to admit, I don't know if I'll ever wear high stiletto heels again, but I've found a transitional shoe that will ease my step back into a proper work uniform again.
