On the Cover of New York Magazine: Revolt of the Delivery Workers
Welcome to On the Cover, our biweekly digest of stories from the latest issue of New York Magazine.
Our newest cover story marks the first partnership between New York Magazine and our Vox Media colleagues at The Verge. It's the story of New York’s restaurant-delivery workers – many of them undocumented, and many of them exclusively Spanish-speaking – who must fend for themselves against increasingly brutal conditions and outside forces: Seamless, the local government, bike thieves, the NYPD, people who order a single ice cream cone from 30 blocks away and don’t even tip.
