Happy Monday!

I just committed to speak at Web Summit Lisbon this year on November 1-4.  Yes I am traveling!  My very first international flight after almost 2 years.

Check out this 20VC interview with Sequoia’s Doug Leone.  It’s inspiring for me as a baby VC (I am only 7 years into this business) to think about building and scaling the firm over generations.  Love their foresight expanding into China in 2005. As investors, we are defined by the next investment we make.  We need to stay humble, empathetic and open minded.

The rules of the game in Hong Kong have changed for the real estate tycoons.  Will CK Asset, Henderson Land Development, Sun Hung Kai Properties, and New World Development shift their strategies from real estate to tech? Congrats to Danny Yeung and team Prenetics for going public on Nasdaq via New World's SPAC

I had a fun encounter with the Boston Dynamic’s
🐶 Doggie this past week.  We had a fight and I won!

Race Capital portfolio companies are hiring!  Check out our job board

P.S. Join me on October 4th at FoundersHK Demo Day.
